Your family journey
You do not need to know all the answers at the start. We can work through the arrangements together, at a pace that suits your family.

1. Your first conversation
You can get in touch directly or through your funeral director. Tell me the date and location if known, the type of ceremony you are considering and any immediate questions. There is no pressure to make a decision on that first conversation.
2. Getting to know your loved one
We arrange time to talk about the person being remembered. You might share photographs, favourite sayings, music, important milestones, funny memories or stories that reveal their character. Different relatives may contribute.
3. Agreeing the shape of the ceremony
We discuss readings, music, tributes, moments of silence and whether family members wish to speak. I explain what I can lead and where a minister, pandit or other officiant may be needed.
4. Preparing and reviewing the words
I prepare a ceremony script using the information you have chosen to share. You have the opportunity to check important details, names, pronunciation and the overall tone. We agree any changes in advance.
5. Coordination with the funeral director
Where appropriate, I confirm practical arrangements, timing and the running order with your funeral director and other contributors.
6. On the day
I lead the agreed parts of the ceremony with calm, care and respect. Your focus can remain on remembering your loved one.
7. Afterwards
Any agreed follow-up is completed sensitively. If you have questions or feedback, you can contact me directly.
