Hello, I’m Dimal Patel, and I’m the independent funeral celebrant behind The Light Within Ceremonies.

If you are visiting because someone important to you has died, I’m sorry that you are facing this difficult time.

My role is to listen to the stories that made your loved one who they were, and to help shape a ceremony that reflects their life, their relationships and the memories you want to hold on to.

Some families want something traditional and reflective. Others want a celebration filled with music, warmth and even a little laughter. There is no single right way.

I work with families and funeral directors across Lancashire, including families who wish to bring different cultural or religious traditions into a personal farewell.

If you would like to talk, you are welcome to get in touch. There is no pressure and no obligation. We can simply begin with a conversation.

Production notes

Film in a quiet, naturally lit setting with clear sound, simple navy clothing and no distracting music. Include accurate captions and a written transcript. Avoid filming grieving families or identifiable private ceremonies without explicit consent.
