Why families choose to work with me
A professional approach does not have to feel impersonal. You will deal directly with me throughout the preparation of your ceremony.

One point of contact
I am an independent celebrant. When we speak about your loved one, it is me who listens, prepares the ceremony and delivers the agreed words. I will explain the scope of my role clearly.
A ceremony shaped around a real person
I look for the stories, expressions, interests and relationships that made someone themselves. There is room for solemnity, warmth, humour and quiet reflection, according to the family's wishes.
Clear preparation
We discuss the order of service, music, readings, contributions and important names. I prepare a script and invite you to check the factual details and the overall tone before the day.
Respect for different traditions
I welcome religious, non-religious and mixed-tradition families. I can support Hindu families with English-language tributes and ceremony coordination while respecting the separate role of a pandit for religious rites.
Professional standards
I completed Independent Funeral Celebrant Training with the Celebrant Coaching and Training Academy and NSPCC Learning's Introduction to safeguarding and child protection on 15 February 2026. I maintain a commitment to confidentiality and respectful communication. See qualifications and professional standards.
Transparent fees
My standard celebrant fee is £250, with any additional arrangements and third-party costs discussed separately. Read the fees information.
